Quarts beyond five, diesel engines, and European engines that require a specific manufacturer approval are priced separately — the extra cost may be substantial. We tell you before we start, never after. Some engines must have full synthetic; if yours is one we will say so rather than put the wrong oil in it.

You get a written estimate and you authorize it before any work is done. If the job changes, you get a revised figure to approve.

Short, because the answer is: very little.

This site does not track you

There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker on these pages. We do not set cookies. Nobody is building a profile of you because you read about brake discard specs.

What we do receive

The chat on this site runs entirely in your browser. ⚠️ Nothing you type in it is sent to us, stored, or logged — it is a guide that helps you describe the problem before you ring the shop. Close the tab and it is gone.

What we do with it

We use it to book your car in and to do the work. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone who is not part of repairing your vehicle. If your repair involves an insurer, we share what that claim requires and nothing else.

How long we keep it

Repair records are kept because a warranty claim two years from now needs them, and because a vehicle history is worth something to you when you sell the car. Enquiries that never became a job are not kept indefinitely.

Fonts

The typefaces on this site load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees the request.

The map

The map on the booking panel is a Google embed, and it does not load until you press Show the map. Until you do, nothing is requested from Google Maps and no map cookie is set. Press it and Google sees the request, the same as any Google map anywhere. The address and the directions link work without loading anything.

Google Fonts and, if you ask for it, Google Maps are the only third parties involved in serving this page.

Asking us

Ring the shop on (619) 640-4606 and ask what we hold, or ask us to delete it. You do not need to write a formal letter.
